- Pythagorean Theorem: the formula used to find the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle.
- Hypotenuse: the longest side of a right triangle. This side will ALWAYS be opposite of the right angle.
- Legs: the two shortest sides of a right triangle. These two sides will create the right angle.
